MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President George Weah has returned home from Cote d’Ivoire, after successfully attending the Felix Houphouet Boigny Peace Award Ceremony in Yamoussoukro.
President Weah was among other world leaders, mainly from the West African sub-region, who participated in the event in the Ivoirian political capital.
While in Cote d’Ivoire, President Weah held discussions with his counterparts, including Macky Sall of Senegal, Umaro Sissoco Embalo of Guinea Bissau and Alasane Quattara of Cote d’Ivoire on the margins of the ceremony.
According to the Executive Mansion, the Liberian Leader and his counterparts discussed sub-regional peace, security and democracy.
