MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Joint Committee Chair on Ways, Means and Finance at the National Legislature wants his colleagues thoroughly scrutinize the draft budget in the interest of Liberia.
Representative Thomas Fallah said:” Priority should be placed on key areas of national interest aimed at raising the living standards of Liberians.”
The Montserrado County Lawmaker was speaking on Thursday, February 9, 2023, during the official opening of the Expenditure Component of the 2023 Draft National Budget.
Representative Fallah said deliberations on the current budget will ensure its swift passage to enable Government undertake crucial developments for the Country.
Meanwhile, spending entities of Government will begin official presentations today, Friday, February 10, 2023.
