Gov. to Build Gbondoi Town Clinic in Bong County

by Maximilian K. Kasseh jr

BONG COUNTY, LIBERIA-The Liberian Government is expected to construct a clinic in Gbondoi Town, Lower Bong County, shortly.

Bong County Superintendent, Esther Walker, said:” Government’s intervention is intended to calm growing tension between Representatives Moima Briggs-Mensah and Marvin Cole of Bong County, over the construct ion of Gbondoi Clinic.”

The two Bong County Lawmakers have been trading claims and counter-claims over the alleged existence of the clinic, though the National Legislature has since approved twenty-five-thousand United States Dollars for the facility in the 2023 National Budget.

But, ELBC Correspondent quotes the Bong County Superintendent as saying Government’s sponsorship to the Gbondoi Clinic Project is made possible through the instrumentality of President George Weah.

According to Superintendent Walker, the President’s move is in no way a strategy to prevent investigation into the matter, but to swiftly intervene and restore peace amongst Gbondoi Citizens.
