MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Youth and Sports Minister, Zeogar Wilson, has disclosed that the second phase of the Coastal Sanitation Program will begin on May 1, this year.
The project is Government funded program designed to provide temporary employment opportunities for poor and vulnerable persons in slum communities.
Minister Wilson said:” Due to the successful implementation of the first phase of the project, Government has increased the current budget of the program to two-point-five-million United States Dollars.”
The Youth and Sports Minister said more than three-thousand-eight hundred youths are expected to benefit from the program.
He said:” The project is targeting Bomi, Nimba, River Gee, Maryland, and Grand Bassa Counties for the first time.”
