GRAND KRU COUNTY, LIBERIA-Hundreds of women living with disabilities and single mothers in Barclayville, Grand Kru County, have benefited from food assistance across ten communities in the County.
The gesture is from a local Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), Community Sustainable Development Program.
The Program Officer of the Organization, Florence Zorliama, said:” The money is to empower women, especially those living with disabilities, youth and children in the Country.”
Madam Zorliama disclosed that the Community Sustainable Development Organization was founded in 2007, and is currently working with women in seven counties.
They are Maryland, Bomi, Bong, Nimba, Gbarpolu River Gee, and Grand Kru Counties.
