Information Ministry to Launch New Radio Program

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Ministry of Information, with support from USAID, through Internews, is expected to launch a new radio program name “Policy Dialogue” today, Tuesday.

According to a release issued recently, the program will serve as an additional public platform to provide access to Government Information.

It said strategic government officials will explain public policy issues that border on developments, as well as provide educative information to citizens and foreign residents.

The creation of the new program, according to the release, is based on Article 15 (C) of the 1986 Constitution of Liberia.

According to the release, the Policy Dialogue Program which will be launched on OK FM will bring to six the number of national platforms, including Thursday’s MICAT Press Briefing, LINA Panorama, New Liberia Newspaper, MICAT Facebook Live, and MICAT Hour on ELBC, propagating Government information.

It said those platforms are being used to provide access to public information about the state and the workings of Government.
