Police Investigates Incident at Sen. Johnson’s Church

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Liberian National Police (LNP) says it is investigating two persons in connection with the recent incident at Nimba County Senator Prince Johnson’s Christ Chapel of Faith Ministry Church in Paynesville City.

Recently, a group of protesters convened at the Church’s facility, calling for the establishment of a War Crimes Court.

The LNP Commissioner for Interpool, Emmanuel Gleekar, told MICAT’s Press Briefing on Thursday, May 25, 2023, that it has intensified efforts in probing the matter.

Mr. Gleekar, however, said:” The police is yet to establish whether belongings of the church were damaged”.

The LNP Commissioner for Interpool, Emmanuel Gleekar, assured the commitment of the Liberia National Police to ensure that a thorough investigation is done into the matter.
