MONROVIA, LIBERIA-A man who allegedly spilled acid on his girlfriend has pleaded not guilty to the crime of murder.
Defendant Sam Ali Kemokai, on December 4, 2016, committed the act in Logan Town, accusing his fiancée, Mercy Gbanjah, of extra affairs.
According to an indictment, Defendant Sam intentionally committed the act to satisfy his selfish motives.
The Suspect absconded for the past six years and was re-arrested on April 9, 2022, at the Duala Market.
On Monday, May 29, 2023, Prosecuting Lawyers paraded three witnesses to testify against the suspect, pending the next hearing on Tuesday at the Criminal Court A, Monrovia.
