MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Chairman of the Collaborating Political Party (CPP) has vowed to expel Grand Bassa County Senator, Nyonblee Karngar-Lawrence, if she campaigns against the candidate of the party in the pending elections.
It followed her appointment as National Campaign Chairperson of the UP by Ambassador Joseph Boakai, recently.
Speaking on the ELBC maiden edition of Open Conversation on Monday, July 3, 2023, the Collaborating Political Parties (CPP), Musa Bility, said:” It is against the Constitution of the Liberty Party (LP) and the CPP for any of its members to campaign against the candidate of the party.”
He noted that Senator Karngar-Lawrence is no longer a political leader of the LP, but a member, and as such, she must abide by the party’s constitution.
Chairman Bility, however, said he will ensure that any member who violates the constitution of the party will not go unpunished.
