MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President George Weah has delivered his sixth address to the World Leaders at the 78th General Assembly of the United Nations in New York.
The address by the Liberian Leader has become a permanent fixture at the United Nations General Assembly since becoming President in January 2018.
President George Weah, among other things, highlighted the progress made by his administration and his commitment to holding fair elections in October.
Meanwhile, President George Weah has congratulated the Government and people of China in observance of their 74th Anniversary.
In a message to his Chinese counterpart, Xi Jinping, President Weah expressed hope that the cordial ties of friendship and cooperation between China and Liberia will be further strengthened in the spirit of African solidarity.
A Foreign Ministry release issued recently quotes the Liberian Leader as wishing the people of China blessings of peace, unity, and prosperity as they commemorate another milestone under the leadership of President Xi Jinping.
The President, however, reaffirmed his commitment to fostering stronger cooperation between Liberia and China, as President Xi Jinping leads his compatriots to greater prosperity.
