MARYLAND COUNTY, LIBERAI-The people of Maryland County are said to have committed themselves to the re-election of President George Weah.
The Speaker of the House of Representatives and Pleebo Sodoken Representative, Dr. Bhofal Chambers, said:” Given ongoing developments across the country, citizens have resorted to retaining the Coalition for Democratic Change (CDC) Government.”
Dr. Chambers believes that such a massive show of support will also translate to the ruling party’s Representative and Senatorial Candidates.
The Maryland County Lawmaker made the comment recently in Pleebo when thousands of citizens turned out to give him a rousing welcome, ahead of the elections.
According to Speaker Bhofal Chambers, President George Weah has delivered beyond expectations in the areas of road connectivity, free education, basic healthcare, and the protection of the rule of law.
Meanwhile, House Speaker Dr. Bhofal Chambers has committed to paying the school fees of all students from Pleebo Sodoken District attending the William V.S. Tubman University in Harper, Maryland County.
The Speaker said:” Youth capacity building remains the surest way to maintaining a vibrant workforce of any nation and institution.”
He, at the same time, denounced all forms of violence and threats against the peace of the state.
The Pleebo Sodoken Representative then called on opposition politicians to desist from instilling fears in the minds of Liberians.
