NIMBA COUNTY, LIBERIA-A three-day Human Resource Capacity Development Training is taking place in Ganta City, Nimba County.
The training, organized by the Corporative Development Agency, brings together twelve farmer-based cooperatives drawn from Lofa, Bong, Margibi and Nimba Counties.
CDC Deputy Registrar for Programs, Gender and Youth Promotion, Mohammed Jalloh, said:” The gathering is targeting eight cooperative leaderships and CDC Staff through leadership and good governance training programs.”
Three executives of the participating cooperatives, Musu Nana, Michael Kanue and Zoe Gboa, have commended the Government of Liberia and partners for the empowerment initiative.
They said the training will help boost productivity and increase membership of the various groupings.
