MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Police Inspector General Patrick Sudue on Thursday testified in court in the ongoing murder trial of former Chief Justice, Gloria Musu Scott and three members of her family.
In his testimony, Col. Sudue confirmed to the court that he received communication from Cllr. Scott on the date and time specified, in connection to the February 2023 intrusion on her home.
The Police Chief also clarified that the first alleged intrusion incident on February 8 was not reported to the police, but confirmed receiving the February 9 as the first incident reported.
Col. Sudue said:” Police officers were immediately dispatched to the residence of Madam Scott, after receiving a verbal report from her driver on February 9, this year.”
The Police Inspector General was subpoenaed by Criminal Court A following an application by Defense Lawyers to give accounts of two separate communications from Defendant Scott to the police in 2022 and 2023, respectively.
