MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President-elect, Joseph Boakai, is expected to leave Liberia today, Friday, for the United States to hold a wide range of consultations with Liberia’s political stakeholders.
According to a release issued, recently, Ambassador Boakai will also meet with supporters of the Unity Party (UP) in Canada and the U.S. to appreciate them for their support of his election.
He is expected to be away for about two to three weeks.
While in the U.S., Vice President-elect, Jeremiah Koung, will coordinate the affairs of the Joint Presidential Transitional Team in consultation with Ambassador Joseph Boakai.
