MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Christian Association of the Blind is rolling out a project to train and harness youth with visual impairment on advocacy mechanisms and the use of technology in three counties in Liberia.
With support from the Danish Association of the Blind, the project is targeting disabled youth in ICT training and a campaign for inclusion.
The Project Manager, Susan Anderson, told ELBC on Wednesday, February 7, 2024, that the initiative will bring together more than ninety visually impaired youths.
Meanwhile, an Executive of the Christian Association of the Blind, Moses Kpaklah, has underscored the significance of the project in amplifying the voices of disabled youth in the Country.
Mr. Moses Kpaklah said:” The project will not only harness the skills of visually impaired youths but will also make them active campaigners for inclusion in all facets of society.”
