MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Government of Liberia has earmarked eleven projects across the country to ensure that primary roads are pliable during the rainy and dry seasons.
President Joseph Boakai said:” The Public Works Ministry has undertaken 783.5 km major road corridor in several counties.”
The Liberian Leader named Bong, Lofa, Nimba, Gbarpolu, Grand Kru, Grand Gedeh, Maryland, Sinoe, Grand Bassa, Rivercess, and Bomi Counties.
President Boakai also disclosed that contractors, logistics, and equipment have been mobilized and massive work is ongoing g in the respective counties.
President Joseph Boakai disclosed on Wednesday, May 1, 2024, at the Executive Mansion when he addressed the nation about the Government’s hundred-day deliverables.
Meanwhile, the Liberian Leader says the Government has made a significant impact in the Country’s Health Sector in the first one hundred days of his administration.
He said:” The Government, through the Health Ministry, distributed essential medicines and medical supplies, to thirteen of the fifteen counties.”
President Boakai also noted that the Government is currently working out modalities to construct four diagnostic centers in the Country to address critical health illnesses.
The President also reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to improving the livelihood of Liberians, through the provision of quality health services.
