MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Movement for Economic Empowerment (MOVEE) has suspended three executives for what it described as a breach of the Party’s Constitution.
Those suspended include Matthew Shann, MOVEE Acting Chair, Jeremiah Paye, Acting Secretary General, and Patrick Karmo, Acting Montserrado County Chair.
At a news conference over the weekend, MOVEE Acting Chair, Prince Mehn, said:” The suspended officials’ action contravenes the ideals and vision of the Party.”
Meanwhile, MOVEE has confirmed its support for the Party’s Political Leader, Dee-Maxwell Kemayah, amid the internal impasse within the Party.
The Party said:” Ambassador Kemayah still enjoys the support and protection of the National Executive Committee.”
