MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Jurors at Criminal Court “A” on Tuesday brought down a hung verdict in the murder case with six for and six against.

Defendants Ballah Mulbah, Geebo Conteh, and Sumo Kerkulah were indicted by the Liberian Government for murder, after allegedly beating Sackie Torkpa with sticks leading to his death.

The deceased was reportedly beaten during a scuffle with the defendants, while on a hunting expedition along the St. Paul River in Artington.

The Defendants, led by Ballah Mulbah, had told the deceased not to hunt in the area because they already had their traps set in the bushes.

Meanwhile, Judge Roosevelt Willie has ordered that the defendants return to the Monrovia Central Prison and announce a new trial to determine their fate.

At the same time, the Vault Custodian at GT Bank has been indicted by the Liberian Government.

Fabrizo Siryon was accused of stealing over seventy-eight thousand United States Dollars from the Bank’s vault.

Montserrado County Attorney Cllr. Swaliho Sesay said:” We obtained a True Bill from the Grand Jury based on the weight of the evidence.”

Suspect Fabrizo Siryon, on May 16, allegedly made away with the money and has since not been seen.

Meanwhile, County Attorney, Swaliho Sesay said:” The necessary papers have already been done through the Liberia National Police and Interpol to have him arrested.”
