Liberia’s Civil Service Agency Concludes Verification and Headcounts…

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Civil Service Agency (CSA) Director General, Josiah Joekai, says the Agency has concluded physical verification and head counts of employees at twenty-six Government spending entities.

Mr. Joekai said:” From the exercise, the CSA was able to block unverified individuals from twelve entities, pending verification in one month.

He named the Ministries of State for Presidential Affairs, Foreign Affairs, Education, the Liberia Broadcasting System, and the Monrovia City Corporation, among others.

Mr. Joekai disclosed that from the blocking of the two hundred ten unverified individuals, Government will be saving over eight ninety-nine thousand US Dollars, annually.

The CSA Boss also indicated that the Agency has finalized the analysis of the Government entities, which include the Ministry of Mines and Energy, the Liberia Institute for Public Administration, and the National Center for Coordination of Response Mechanism.
