Pres. Boakai Congratulates United States on 248th Independence Anniversary

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President Joseph Boakai has congratulated the Government and people of the United States of America as they observe the 248th Independence Anniversary on July 4.

In his message to President Joseph Biden, President Boakai, on behalf of the Government and people of Liberia, extended warm congratulations and sincere best wishes to President Biden and the people of the United States.

According to a Foreign Ministry release issued recently, the Liberian Leader noted that as the United States commemorates another milestone in its national existence, the historic bond of friendships and cooperation between the two countries and peoples will continue to be enhanced.

President Boakai also pledged Liberia’s continued positive engagement with the U.S. to build on their strong bilateral framework and to cooperate with the U.S. in the fight to achieve and sustain international peace and security.

The Liberian Leader then wished President Biden personal well-being and continued wisdom as he led his people on the irreversible path to sustained peace, stability, and prosperity.

In a related development, the Liberian Leader has also congratulated the Government and people of Canada on the occasion commemorating the 157th Independence Anniversary of that great country on July 1.

President Joseph Boakai, in his message to his Canadian Counterpart, Justin Trudeau, extended profound congratulations and best wishes to the Government and people of Canada, on behalf of Liberia.

According to a Foreign Ministry release issued, the Liberian Leader stated that Liberia’s relationship with Canada presents the opportunity for exchanges on efforts to deepen future bilateral in many spheres.

President Joseph Boakai then prayed that the people of Canada would continue to enjoy blessings of peace and unity
