MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Liberia People’s Democratic Party (LPDP) is urging members of the opposition, including the Congress for Democratic Change (CDC), to embrace the prosecution of former public officials accused of corruption.
LPDP Acting National Chairman D. Wa Hne said:” It is time that those accused of corruption account for their stewardship.”
Acting Chairman D. Wa Hne noted that the LPDP welcomes the prosecution of former public officials accused of corruption, and urged President Joseph Boakai to make the process holistic to ensure every alleged corrupt official accounts for their stewardship.
The LPDP Acting Chairman said:” Though the past administration reneged to act on past audit reports, the current Government should not compromise the fight against the menace.”
