MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Acting Finance Minister Anthony Myers says Agriculture, road, and tourism are potential elements of national investment attraction into the country.
Minister Myers revealed that investing in road infrastructure will boost agriculture production, commerce, and trade and create marketing opportunities to impact all sectors of the economy.
He also wants private and public sector investors to venture into economic and specialization activities to boost trade and business across the country.
Acting Finance Minister Myers made the call when he made a presentation at the ongoing National Investment Conference organized by the Nova Africa Ventures at the Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf Ministerial Complex in Congo Town.
The Acting Finance Minister also urged Private and Public investors to align Agriculture, Road, and Tourism to support the National Development Plan for inclusive development.
Meanwhile, Gbarpolu County Senator Amara Konneh has named external support and internal reforms as two key attractive opportunities for national investment.
Senator Konneh said:” The ARREST Agenda needs both external and internal reforms to attract the rate at which investors can invest and get returns.”
The Gbarpolu County Senator believes that when external and internal reforms are addressed properly, the rate of Inclusive Development will impact all sectors of the economy and change the entrenched narratives.
Senator Konneh expressed delight over President Joseph Boakai’s optimism to change the untold story of all Liberians, assuming the management of the Government’s finances and through sound fiscal discipline.
