Liberia Drug Enforcement Agency Officer-In-Charge Announces Plans…

MONROVIA, LIBERIA- The Officer-in-Charge of the Liberia Drug Enforcement Agency (LDEA) has announced plans for the establishment of a joint Liberian and Sierra Leonean task force to tackle the illicit drug trade.

Mr. Christopher Peters said:” Statistics show that drug importation at the Bo Waterside border in Grand Cape Mount County has increased.”

The LDEA Officer-In-Charge said the Agency remains unwavering in its fight against drugs in Liberia.

Mr. Peters said:” Despite being resisted by alleged drug suspects and residents of Small Town Community last week, the LDEA is not deterred in its operations.”

In an interview on the Super Morning Show on Monday, August 26, 2024, the LDEA Officer-In-Charge disclosed that the arrest of an Ivoirian National with Kush and Heroin worth over two hundred thousand US Dollars in Sinkor.
