MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of Liberia Ceinah Clinton Johnson says dispensing justice without political interference is vital to building an independent Judiciary.
Associate Justice Johnson promised to dispense justice without fear or favor in the discharge of her duties.
She made the remarks on Thursday, August 29, 2024, at the Temple of Justice when she officially took a seat as Associate Justice of the Supreme Court to complete the Full Bench.
Justice Johnson vowed to make sound decisions in the interest of the State and called on lawyers to review cases properly before taking an appeal to the Supreme Court for a hearing.
Meanwhile, Chief Justice Sie-A-Nyeneh Yuoh has appointed Justice Ceinah Clinton Johnson as Justice in Chambers, beginning Monday, September 2.
