MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Executive Director of Campaigners Against Misinformation and Disinformation has called on international partners to help the organization combat false information in Liberia.
Mr. Taweh Johnson said:” Misinformation and disinformation have the potential to drive away potential investors from the country.”
Mr. Johnson wants international partners to provide logistical support to the organization to enable it to extend its awareness campaign to rural areas.
He made the call over the weekend at the end of a misinformation and disinformation awareness campaign organized by the organization at the Peace Park in Bentol, Montserrado County.
Meanwhile, residents of Bentol lauded the Organization for the initiative, and appealed for an extension of the awareness campaign to other parts of Rural Montserrado County.
