GRAND KRU COUNTY, LIBERIA-The Liberia Drug Enforcement Agency (LDEA) Grand Kru County Detachment has dismissed the allegation of harassment of peaceful citizens in the County.

It followed claims that some unspecified LDEA Officers reportedly harassed three individuals who were on their way from a gold mine in the Boah area and took away their belongings.

But LDEA Grand Kru County Commander, Michael Jipply, termed the allegation linking the LDEA to harassing peaceful citizens as untrue.

According to ELBC Grand Kru County Correspondent, Mr. Jipply said:” Officers of the LDEA encountered two individuals in the Boah area, while carrying out their patrol, and seized some of their belongings currently in the possession of the LDEA.”

Commander Jipply assured citizens in the County of the Agency’s commitment to executing its mandate transparently.
