MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President Joseph Boakai, and his entourage have returned home after participating in the 79th Session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York, the United States.
The Liberian Leader arrived on Sunday, October 6, 2024, via the Roberts International Airport, in Lower Margibi County.
President Boakai, in his address to the UN General Assembly, called for the restoration of peace in the Middle East, amid ongoing conflict.
The Liberian Leader also launched the Country’s bid for Non-Permanent Seat on the UN Security Council and reaffirmed Liberia’s support to maintaining global peace, security, and sustainable development.
Members of the President’s delegation include Foreign Minister Sara Beysolow-Nyanti, Agriculture Minister Dr. Alexander Nuetah, and Information Minister Jerolinmek Piah, among others.
