John F. Kennedy Hospital Management Makes Huge Progress

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The John F. Kennedy Memorial Hospital New Management says it has made tremendous progress in changing the narratives at the hospital in just nine months.

The Head of the J.F.K Management, Dr. Linda Birch, said:” Steady progress has been made in upgrading critical areas of the hospital, including strengthening key partnerships to enhance service delivery, infrastructural development, and sanitizing medical environment.”

A JFK statement said that the Management has entered into partnership with the International Bank Liberia Limited and Eco Bank, which has greatly enhanced the hospital’s financial transparency and controls, thus promoting accountability.

The Management Team has also ensured that the completion of a comprehensive rehabilitation of the maternity emergency break-room, the male doctors call room, and the construction of the external pharmacy at the pediatrics wards, among others.

Dr. Birch and team also said they have embarked on several transformative initiatives aimed at further elevating the quality of care at the health facility.

Meanwhile, Dr. Linda Birch has launched a state-of-the-art oxygen plant, which will guarantee constant supply of medical-grade oxygen, essential for the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and surgical theaters.
