JNB Foundation Donates Medical Equipment to Four Medical Facilities…

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Four medical facilities in Liberia have benefitted from a donation of medical equipment, along with assorted office supplies worth thousands of US Dollars.

The equipment, including twenty incubators, were donated by the JNB Foundation to the John F. Kennedy Memorial Hospital in Sinkor, the Jackson F. Doe Memorial Hospital in Tappita, Nimba County, the James Davis Memorial Hospital in Paynesville, and the Redemption Hospital in New Kru Town.

Presenting the equipment on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, in Paynesville, the Foundation’s Executive Director, Jackson George, said:” The donation is part of President Joseph Boakai’s vision to improve health facilities across the country, in order to save lives.”

Mr. Georg noted that the Foundation, with support from international partners, has been making interventions in several dimensions ranging from medical, education and agriculture, to citizens of the country to better their lives.

Receiving the donation on behalf of the beneficiaries, the CEO of the JFK Memorial Hospital, Dr. Linda Birch and Chief Medical Officer of the Jackson F. Doe Memorial Hospital, Dr. Siaffa Sando, lauded the Foundation for the donation.

The Medical Authorities described the President’s intervention as a great relief for the Health Sector in saving lives, and vowed to use the equipment for the intended purpose.
