Pres. Boakai, Entourage Depart Liberia for Sierra Leone

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President Joseph Boakai and entourage have departed the country for a four-day State visit to Sierra Leone.

During the visit which begins today, Monday, November 18,2024, the Liberian Leader is expected to hold bilateral discussions with his Sierra Leonean counterpart, Julius Maada-Bio.

According to Presidential Press Secretary, Kula Fofana, at a press briefing in Monrovia, recently, discussions will focus on strengthening regional and cross border trade, security, peace, agriculture, and the rule of law.

Madam Fofana said:” As part of the visit, the President will meet and interact with members of the Liberian Community as well as the heads of the Mano River Union.”

Presidential Press Secretary Kula Fofana named Foreign Minister Sara Beysolow-Nyanti, Agriculture Minister Alexander Nuetah, and Information Minister Jerolinmek Piah, among others, as members of the President’s Delegation.
