MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Government of Liberia has allocated over fifty million US Dollars in the 2025 Draft National Budget for road rehabilitation across the country.
The money is aimed at unlocking the economy and creating corridors for citizens to access other parts of the country.
Finance Minister Augustine Ngafuan said:” The amount allocated will cover the rehabilitation of rural roads and the construction of bridges to enhance the movement of Liberians. The money will affect the ongoing works of key road corridors, including Saclepea to Zwedru and other roads.”
The finance minister spoke on Tuesday, November 19,2024, at the MICAT Press Briefing in Monrovia.
