MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Senate Committee Chair on Foreign Affairs, Darius Dillon, has welcomed the Liberian Government’s latest action against public officials for alleged correction and other vices.
In recent months, President Joseph Boakai has suspended and dismissed several officials of Government for alleged corruption, improperly handling of official duties and misconduct.
But, in an ELBC interview on Monday, November 18,2024, Senator Dillon extolled the Liberian Leader for the action, while describing it as timely.
Senator Dillon said:” The President’s decision promotes good governance and international best practices. However, public officials should be cautioned against acts that would undermine the Government of Liberia’s ARREST Agenda.”
