MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Government of Liberia has officially launched the Office of Climate Integration and Financing in Liberia.
Deputy Finance Minister for Budget, Tenneh Brunson, disclosed that the move is intended to address climate change and other related vices in the country.
Speaking on Monday, November 25,2024, at the launching ceremony in Paynesville, Minister Brunson said:” The office will also mobilize funding and attract investments for effective operations.
She is, however, calling on stakeholders and policymakers for stronger collaboration to ensure that the office of Climate Integration and Financing is effective and efficient.
The Office was launched under the theme:” Building Synergies for Climate Change Mainstreaming, Operationalizing the Climate Integration and Financing Office for National Development and Resource Mobilization.”
