MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President Joseph Boakai has received the Letters of Credence from the Ambassadors Designate from Sweden, Canada and Belgium.
The Executive Mansion release issued said each Ambassador presented their Letter of Credence to President Boakai, symbolizing the Liberian Government’s commitment to fostering stronger diplomatic ties with Liberia.
During the meeting with the foreign diplomats, President called for strengthened collaboration in trade, investment, and youth empowerment to further deepen bilateral ties.
The Liberian Leader emphasized openness to business and called for closer economic collaboration between Liberia and the three countries.
President Boakai reaffirmed the Liberian Government’s commitment to promoting good neighborliness and working with their respective countries to achieve shared development goals.
Meanwhile, the Ambassadors of Sweden, Canada and Belgium have reaffirmed their respective countries readiness to collaborate with Liberia in promoting trade, investment and education, among others.
The three Ambassadors Designate are Anthony Blanc of Canada, Carole Van Eyli of Belgium and Kari Backeus of Sweden, who pledged to rebuild past agreement in trade, investment and education, while emphasizing mutual collaboration to support Liberia’s growth and transformation.
The Foreign Diplomas expressed their governments’ focus on resilience building initiative s to support Liberia’s economic growth and prosperity.
The presentations of the Letters of Credence by the Ambassadors Designate marks a renewed chapter of cooperation between Liberia and the three nations focusing on mutual interest in trade, investment, education and development.
