Health Ministry Begins Annual Operation Plan Validation Meeting

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Ministry of Health has commenced its Annual Operational Plan Validation Meeting in Ganta, Nimba County.

The meeting aims to validate the 2025 Annual Operational Plan, ensuring its alignment with the National Health and Strategic Plan, as well as the broader ARREST Agenda for Inclusive Development (AAID).

According to a Health Ministry release issued recently, the plan emphasizes the addressing of critical national health priorities and optimizing resource allocation to bolster Liberia’s healthcare systems.

During the opening session, Deputy Health Minister for Planning, Monitoring, and Evaluation, Malayah Cheyoie, highlighted the importance of the exercise in achieving impactful outcomes.

Minister Cheyoie called for collective expertise to address challenges and implement sustainable solutions.

The week-long event brings together stakeholders, including representatives from the Catholic Relief Services, the World Health Organization (WHO), and Samaritan Purse, among others.
