MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Amid growing tension among members of the Methodist denomination, Police Inspector General Gregory Coleman has committed to guaranteeing the safety of lives and properties.
On the Super Morning Show on Monday, March 3, 2025, Colonel Coleman said,” The protection of lives and properties is a part of the police constitutional responsibility, and the force will do all it can to handle the matter with care.”
Col. Coleman admonished members and authority of the Church to take their matter to the Court and avoid violence that would raise more tension.
Meanwhile, the Police Inspector General expressed concerns over the recent tension among state security officers.
Col.. Coleman said:” Punishment, including suspension, has been offered to officers who were seen carrying out activities that contravene the Police Code of Conduct.”
