MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Richard Koon, has broken grounds for the construction of an incineration at the John F. Kennedy Memorial Hospital in Sinkor, Monrovia.
The ceremony followed a recent tour of the hospital facility to ascertain its needs.
Speaking during the ceremony on Monday, March 17, 2025, Speaker Koon said:” The construction of the incinerator will save the hospital from spending seventy-four thousand US Dollars annually.
The cost of the project is estimated at twenty thousand US Dollars and is expected to be completed in ninety days.
Meanwhile, Speaker Koon has highlighted the urgent need for the renovation of the Tubman National Institute of Medical Arts (TNIMA) to its pre-war status.
Speaker Koon said this is critical to providing a conducive learning environment for students of the institute.
