MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The House of Representatives has imposed additional suspensions on two of its members.
They are Bong County District-Three Representative, Marvin Cole and Montserrado County District-Thirteen Representative, Edward Flomo.
The two lawmakers had been under suspension since November 2024 for what the House termed as unruly behavior.
According to Plenary, the two lawmakers’ suspension was extended because they failed to comply with the House’s Standing Rules and their frequent visits to the grounds of the capitol.
Our reporter said that currently, the House of Representatives has suspended fifteen members, including Representatives Fonati Koffa, Alex Noah, Eugene Kollie, Musa Bility, Jacob Debee, and Roland Opee Cooper.
Muka Kamara, Thomas Goshua, Frank Saah Foko, and Luther Collins are others.
Meanwhile, the House of Representatives has lifted the suspension of Montserrado County District-Fifteen Representative, Abu Kamara.
