MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President Joseph Boakai has congratulated the people of Zimbabwe on the occasion commemorating that country’s independence anniversary on April 18.
In his message to President Emmerson Mnangagwa, President Boakai extended congratulations to the people of Zimbabwe on behalf of the people of Liberia.
He is quoted in a Foreign Ministry release as saying, “As the people of Zimbabwe commemorate this historic milestone, Liberia joins them in celebrating this auspicious occasion.”
President Boakai expressed friendship that the bond of friendship and cooperation subsisting between Liberia and Zimbabwe in the areas of bilateral ties and cooperation is strengthened.
The Liberian Leader wished that the two countries would further work together to promote international peace and security between Zimbabwe and Liberia.
President Joseph Boakai then prays that the Almighty God will endow President Emmerson Mnangagwa with abundant wisdom and strength, as he leads his people to greater heights.
