MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Major pavement work on the Saye Town Road in Sinkor is expected to begin shortly.

This followed a commitment made by President Joseph Boakai to residents of the area during the launch of the ‘National Mob Violence Campaign’ over the weekend.

President Boakai said,” Citizens living in that part of Monrovia deserve and need to feel the true impact of the Liberian Government they overwhelmingly voted for.”

The Liberian Leader has instructed the Ministry of Public Works to begin the pavement process.

Citizens of the area, in a jubilant mood, lauded President Boakai for his commitment and urged the government to ensure that the road is paved.

The Saye Town Road is among several deplorable roads in Monrovia and across the country that need urgent rehabilitation to ease movement, enhance trade, and boost the Liberian economy.
