NIMBA COUNTY, LIBERIA-The Liberia National Police says it has tightened security surveillance ahead of the Nimba County Senatorial By-election scheduled for Tuesday, April 22.
Police Inspector General Col. Gregory Coleman said:” Officers of the joint security have already been deployed across Nimba County, to ensure the peaceful conduct of Tuesday’s election, April 22, 2025.”
Speaking to reporters in Nimba County, Col. Coleman also assured the Public of the LNP’s commitment to ensure the election is void of intimidation.
The Police Inspector General praised residents of Nimba County for conducting themselves peacefully in the ongoing campaign trails, ahead of Tuesday’s by-election.
Meanwhile, the Police Inspector General says LNP will not compromise with individuals who will disrupt the activities of the by-election.
