GRAND KRU COUNTY, LIBERIA-The Liberian Government has begun laying out more than thirty streets in Barclayville City in Grand Kru County.
The fifteen thousand US dollars project is being funded by the local authorities, through the County Development Fund, allocated by the government in the 2025 National Budget.
According to the ELBC Grand Kru County Correspondent, the project is expected to be completed in approximately three weeks, as predicted by the Public Works Ministry.
Our Correspondent is quoted as saying earthmoving machines and other equipment are already in the county to begin the project.
The layout, when completed, will ensure the smooth movement of goods and services from one part of the city to another.
Meanwhile, several residents of the county have expressed gratitude to the local authorities for the efforts aimed at ensuring the county’s development.
