MARGIBI COUNTY, LIBERIA-The Caucus of Margibi County has announced the allocation of one hundred fifty thousand US dollars to rebuild the burned Dolo Town Comprehensive Health Center.
According to Margibi County Superintendent Victoria Duncan, all members of the Caucus have approved the fund, given the lack of a health facility to cater to more than sixty thousand residents in Lower Margibi County.
She said,” It’s frustrating to see residents covering long distance to seek medical care due to an unknown fire outbreak at their destroyed health center.”
At an intensive meeting with the town’s local authorities on Thursday, May 1, 2025, Superintendent Duncan disclosed plans to fast-track the acquisition of the money from the Ministry of Finance as early as possible to restore the urgent health needs of residents of the area.
The Dolo Town Comprehensive Health Center was burned on February 22, leaving more than sixty thousand residents without a health facility.
