MONROVIA, LIBERIA-A 28-year-old man identified as Kesselly Morley has been sent to the Monrovia Central Prison for alleged murder.

Defendant Kesseley, a resident of the 72nd Community, allegedly committed the act on April 26, 2025.

Police investigations revealed that Kesselly accused Hawa Flomo, the deceased, of witchcraft, where they both lived in the same house.

Investigation further uncovered that defendant Kesseley also got involved chasing after one Michael Fallah and Alima Zikeh, who are also residents of the same house, with the intent to inflict bodily injuries on them.

While running after the two men, he encountered the deceased Hawa Flomo, who was sitting on the porch of her house, and he moved towards her.

Defendant Kesseley dragged her outside the porch and beat her severely on her head with a stone and an iron pipe.

In the process of the assault, some community dwellers attempted to rescue the victim, Hawa, but were unable because Kesselly also chased them with a stone and an iron pipe in his possession, while the deceased bled profusely, lying down on the ground, which led to her death.

Police investigations revealed that there was no confusion between them before her death, thus terming his action as cruel, intentional, inhumane, and a total indifference to human life.

In the presence of his lawyer, he admitted killing the victim with a stone and an iron pipe.
