MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Thirty-two health practitioners have departed Liberia to participate in a two-week seminar on Public Health and Health Standards in Chengdu, Southwestern China.
The seminar is sponsored by the Chinese Government and forms part of a strategic cooperation between Liberia and China to enhance the health delivery system in Liberia.
A Health Ministry release says the training, which is expected to run from May 9 to 22, is also aimed at exposing Liberian health professionals to international best practices and innovations in public health.
