MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Senator Abraham Darius Dillion has praised the Liberia National Fire Service (LNFS) for their valor on national duty.
Senator Dillion assured the LNFS that they have raised the budget from two million to four million, and promised to do more to enhance their hard work.
Responding to the Montserrado County Lawmaker, the Director General of the LNFS, G. Warsuwah Barvouh, paid tribute to firefighters, fallen and alive.
The Director General also appealed to the government, through Senator Dillion, to consider a salary increment for personnel of the entity and their insurance.
In Addition, Director Barvouh urged all citizens to get fire alarms, smoke detectors, and fire extinguishers in their homes, cars, and workplaces to help fight fire outbreaks.
