PAYNESVILLE CITY, LIBERIA-Chinese Ambassador to Liberia Yin Chengwu has hailed the tremendous progress being made by the China-Liberia cooperation, since President Joseph Boakai took office.
Ambassador Chengwu said:” The renewed commitment between China and Liberia continues to see huge successes in infrastructural development, health, agriculture, and other areas.
The Chinese Ambassador said the progress signifies China’s strong commitment to providing capacity building for human resources for Liberian youths.
Ambassador Chengwu commented over the weekend, during the launching ceremony of the China-Aided Liberia Bamboo and Rattan Weaving and Vegetable and Fruits Planting and Livestock Raising technical project at the Samuel Kanyon Doe Sports Complex in Paynesville City.
He said:” The project will help empower the trainees for the job market by sharpening their competitiveness on the job. China remains committed to helping Liberia with practical training for its citizens to become entrepreneurs.”
The China-Aided project is training about fifty young people to produce bamboo and rattan into modern furniture, among others.
