MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Liberty Party (LP) is expected to commemorate its 20th Anniversary on May 19, 2025, celebrating two decades of engagement in Liberia’s democratic journey.

The leadership emphasized its ongoing commitment to fostering a democratic culture grounded in the protection of rights and national unity.

In a release issued on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, the LP announced a calendar of commemorative events to honor its journey and vision for a reformed and inclusive Liberia.

The Party said it remains steadfast in its belief that Liberia’s brightest days lie ahead, achievable through collective action guided by national interest rather than personal ambition.

Under the theme: “Liberty Party: Twenty Years of Democratic Legacy to Cherish”, the Party reflects on its contributions to nation-building, while reaffirming its commitment to advancing good governance and the rule of law.

Led by its Political Leader Senator Nyonblee Karnga-Lawrence, the LP expressed gratitude to its founding father, the late Cllr. Charles Brumskine, whose vision and leadership laid the foundation for the Party’s enduring presence in Liberia’s political landscape.
