MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The House of Representatives has cited Margibi County Superintendent Jerry Varney to appear before it Tuesday next week.
Superintendent Varney is expected to give reasons why Margibi County District-Two is yet to utilize the County Development Fund (CDF) for 2020-2021.
In a communication to Plenary on Tuesday, February 22,2022, Margibi County District-Two Representative Ivar Jones said in keeping with the budget law of the stipulated period, a resolution was derived in which eighteen-thousand United States Dollars was appropriated to e ach of the five districts in the county.
Representative Jones said the district convened its sitting and decided the u sage of their share of the CDF into a resolution.
He said despite following all the procedures inclusive of the sub mission of the district’s resolution and request for disbursement of fund, the Superintendent is yet to implement the people’s decision.
