MONROVIA, LIBERIA-A group styled Concern Citizens of District Ten in Montserrado County has condemned recent outburst of Representative Yekeh Kolubah, against Public Works Minister-Designate Ruth Coker-Collins.
The group said it is ashamed that a lawmaker of their District, whom they supported, will choose to denigrate one of their daughters before members of the House of Representatives.
In a press statement released on Monday, May 23, 2022, in Monrovia, the Group described Representative Kolubah’s action as regrettable and unacceptable.
Meanwhile, the Group is calling on the Representative to immediately retract his statement, or it will initiate a campaign against him.
At the same time, the Concern Citizens of District Ten said they are taking aback by the noticeable silence of Senator Nyonblee Karnga-Lawrence, whom Representative Kolubah singled out as one of his advisors.
According to the Group, the failure of Senator Karnga-Lawrence to distance herself from Representative Kolubah’s assertions, will confirm their belief that the Senator is in full support of the Lawmaker’s recent revelation on Spook Talk.
The Group also wants the Coalition of Political Party Women and women stakeholders to immediately distance themselves from the actions of Representative Yekeh Kolubah.
